Building Maintenance
Responsibilities
Building maintenance is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all city-owned facilities including: City Hall, Municipal Community Center, public restrooms. This department is also responsible for cleaning City Hall, Municipal Community Center.
Additional Duties
This department is responsible for performing any function that is related to maintaining the storage of festival items, overstock of old office equipment, building material and supplies; preparing and assisting with the auction / sale of city-owned equipment and vehicles, and the demolition of buildings, while salvaging any possible materials.
Objectives
- Perform as many repairs in-house as possible
- Prolong useful life of major building components
- Provide a safe, clean, and healthful work environment for employees and leisure activity environment for citizens
